When I first got pregnant I didn’t realize what all would be needed until I spoke with a friend who had a home birth. She made me really want to have one and when we realized I wasn’t going to be able to, she said at minimum to have a doula at my birth. I’m extremely happy I had one and Nicolyn was the best choice ever! She was simply amazing! She was available via text/phone call for questions and when I told her my water had broke, she started getting her stuff together and said, just let me know when you want me there.

She was with me every step of the way and helped bridge the communication with me and the nurses and my wishes. She helped with different positioning and suggested different things throughout my labor to try to get my body to contract naturally. When contractions were starting to become more intense, she watched my monitor and counted me through the contractions which was super helpful. Towards the end she really helped me with my breathing and staying relaxed. She was super encouraging and I don’t think I could’ve had the amazing birthing experience I did without her. I recommend her to anyone having a baby! She is a must!

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Nicolyn Pisch and have her as my doula. My labor would have been miserable without Nicolyn by my side. She was there when my husband wasn't able to be due to him taking care of our other four children. She helped me set the room at the hospital to be relaxing. She made sure I was hydrated and fed. She spoke up for me when I was unable to speak up for myself. She was patient with me when we tried different techniques and different positions to help me progress.

She was kind and understanding when my mood changed and I became an unbearable bear. When my husband showed up she made sure to include him in everything. 42 plus hours of labor with 2 plus hours of that time being spent with me pushing...she was there for a majority of it. She was my voice, my pillar, my coach, my friend, my sanity, and my angel. There is no words to express exactly how amazing she was/is. Thank you Nicolyn so much for everything, you went above and beyond."
